High Desert Animal Coalition Seeks Adopters and Donations for Five Handicapped Pit Bulls Left In The Dessert To Die

The High Desert Animal Coalition is seeking adopters and donations to help five handicapped pit bulls who aren't even one year old yet but were left in a box to die in the dessert. These puppies are growing out of neurological issues as they learn to walk with wheelchairs, and need families who have time to spend helping the dogs improve. So, if you can foster great. If you can adopt, even better but the animal rescue needs help right now.

All medical needs are currently covered by the High Desert Animal Coalition, but the puppies need medication and physical therapy every week for the next 10 weeks. The puppies are trying to learn to walk, and the Coalition is looking for homes that will give them the care and attention they need to get through this difficult time.

The High Desert Animal Coalition is asking for donations to help cover the costs of the puppies’ medical needs. They are also asking for people to share the puppies’ stories to help find them forever homes.

If you are interested in adopting one of these puppies, or would like to make a donation, please contact the High Desert Animal Coalition at (760) 756-4322 or visit their website at

All animals are available for adoption or rescue. So, if you are interested, go direct. "Make A Pledge" is a feature used to encourage animal rescues (a 501c3 nonprofit) to save the animal appearing in the photo on this post. If the animal is rescued, you will receive an email with the rescue's name, a photo of the rescued animal out of animal pound and links to information about how you can honor your pledge. Pledged money is used to get the animal medical attention, boarding, spay/neutered, transportation and other activities involved with rescuing an animal. Pledges are not given to private individuals. Our website merely gathers your pledge information, shows a running total of pledges, and then sends out one email on behalf of the rescue agency. If the animal is adopted or killed, you will not receive an email pertaining to your pledge or the animal. Pledging saves lives. Each dollar brings an animal rescue one step closer to saving the life listed here.
On behalf of the animals, THANK YOU!
